The majority of our children live in Silverstone and the feeder villages of Abthorpe and Wappenham. However, parents from a much wider area actively choose to send their children to Silverstone CE Primary based on our ‘family feel’, good results and a positive school ethos.

Although Silverstone CE Primary has it's own Admission Authority, Northants County Council will manage our admission requests. If you wish to formally apply for a place then contact Northants County Council via their website - Northants County Council Admissions Web Site.
For further details read our admission policy and useful admission documents on this page.
New Reception Intake September 2021
One of the best ways to get to know our school is to visit but unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we are unable to host visits at this current time. There is a 'Welcome to Silverstone CE Primary School' video on the Gallery page on this website which gives you a good insight in to life at school.
Your child may begin school in the September of the academic year in which they become 5 years old. Follow the guidance in the County Council letters found on this page for the application process. We strongly encourage prospective parents to visit our school. Please contact the school office to arrange a mutually convenient time to visit.
Deadline for application is 5pm on 15th January 2021.
Once again a visit to our school prior to applying for a place is strongly advised. We do have spaces in most of our year groups. Contact our school office for further information.
How to Appeal for a Place at Silverstone CE Primary
If you have applied and been refused a place at our academy (in any year group), you are entitled to appeal against that decision.
Appeals for PDET academies are administered by the Diocese of Peterborough Education team. For more information on the process please see: https://www.peterborough-diocese.org.uk/parents/appeals
The pack includes some explanatory notes about the process of Admission Appeals and a Notice of Appeal form that, should you decide to proceed with an appeal, will need to be completed and returned by email if possible, but if not, to the Diocesan Office instead.
Timetable for appeals - September 2021 applications
Following the National Offer Day on 16 April 2021, the deadline for lodging an on-time appeal is 9:00am on 21 May 2021.
Proposed appeal hearing dates are during the weeks commencing 21 June and 28 June 2021.
Decision letters will be sent within five working days of the appeal hearing, subject to any unforseen circumstances.
